The North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer pulled off yet another incredible event for railroad enthusiasts. Two years prior, they hosted Norfolk Southern's 30th Anniversary Heritage Locomotive Celebration. In May 2014 they hosted an array of streamlined locomotives from a variety of museums, railroads, and private collectors throughout the country.

During my time at the event, I took a few hours to explore the neighboring Salisbury area. This venture yielded an opportunity to capture a special excursion from Charlotte to the museum and return, utilizing one of Juniata Terminal's PRR E8's and three of their private coaches.

Not to pass up other photographic opportunities, I did not limit my view to only streamlined locomotives, as the museum has a wide variety of other railroad equipment as well!
